An Official Mojang Cape: The Home Cape was a promotional item released to celebrate A Minecraft Movie, which hit theaters on April 4, 2025. Players could obtain this cape by watching any Minecraft livestream on Twitch for three minutes between March 18, 2025, and April 6, 2025. After watching, players received a 25-character code to redeem on the Minecraft website, which added the cape to their Bedrock Edition inventory and later to Java Edition. The cape's design features a grass base with a bright blue portal, mimicking the Earth portal from the movie. The promotion has ended, and the Home Cape can no longer be obtained through official means.
