This cape is awarded to players who attend the in-person interactive event known as Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue, where participants embark on a one-hour adventure through themed rooms representing various Minecraft biomes and dimensions, engaging in activities like scavenging, mining, and curing villagers from zombie infections. To obtain it, guests must purchase tickets for the event, have them scanned upon entry, and then receive a redemption code via the email used for the ticket purchase, which can be used to claim the cape in-game. The event has been held in multiple locations, starting with Dallas, Texas, from October 18, 2024, to January 20, 2025 (now concluded), followed by London, Great Britain, from April 4 to September 28, 2025, and Toronto, Ontario, Canada, from June 20 to September 2, 2025. As of August 2025, the opportunity to obtain the MC Experience Cape is not over, as the London and Toronto events are still ongoing until their respective end dates, allowing players to attend and redeem the cape through the ticket scanning process. Additional events are planned in the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific regions, though specific details on future dates and locations have not yet been announced. Ticket prices vary by location and day, typically ranging from around $30–32 USD for adults, with some provisions for free entry for young children under certain conditions.
