An Official Mojang Cape: Vanilla CapeThe Vanilla Cape was awarded to players who owned both Minecraft: Java Edition and Minecraft: Bedrock Edition for Windows on the same Microsoft account before June 6, 2022. This cape, featuring a grass block on top and bedrock on the bottom to represent both editions, was a special thank-you from Mojang for players who supported the game by purchasing both versions prior to their bundling into a single purchase. The cape was announced on August 15, 2022, and began rolling out to eligible players starting August 31, 2022. It can be equipped in both Java and Bedrock Editions, appearing automatically in the Dressing Room or Skin Customization menu. Unfortunately, the opportunity to obtain this cape has ended, as account migrations or purchases after June 6, 2022, do not qualify.
